Love that song, too. The "Magnum: On the Wings of Heaven LIVE" version is killer!

"Dream About You" it´s a lovely song.....
I saw the album cover for "On a Storyteller's Night", this was either '86 or '87, and bought the album unheard. It wasn't what I'd expected or hoped for and I was slightly disappointed but after a month or two I found myself singing a few lines I knew I'd heard somewhere and after looking through my albums I found it to be bits and pieces from 'How Far Jeruslalem'.Coma777 said:I actually discovered that band by accident, but I truly love them. I was just reading something about them in some free German magazine
With Magnum I've so many favorites it's easier to list all the other songs. But if I'd put together a playlist right it would include 'All of my Life', 'The Battle', 'If I could Live Forever', 'Reborn', 'How Far Jerusalem', 'On a Storyteller's Night', 'Endless Love', 'All England's Eyes', 'Stormy Weather', 'The Great Disaster' -for the "Innocent faces look up in the classroom" part , 'Need a Lot of Love', 'Midnight (You Won't Be Sleeping)', 'One Step Away'-amazing verse, 'Don't Wake the Lion' ...and oh so many more...dargormudshark said:My favorite Magnum songs are "The Spirit" and "Soldier of the Line"

BIGTIME!!!The Weaver of Dreams said:MAAAGNUUUM Urban, didn't know you were a fan of theirs!
And I guess we're not the only ones. The Weaver of Dreams said:With me, too, "On A Storyteller's Night" was my gate into Magnum!
I'd rather do 'This Corrosion'. Or perhaps something with 'The Mission' from 'Children'.The Weaver of Dreams said:or...I GOT IT! The Sisters Of Mercy - "More", with the keyboard parts played on the guitar, that should sound wicked!!!
The Weaver of Dreams said:Have you heard the new Magnum album "Brand New Morning" yet? Not fully in the league of "On A Storyteller's Night", "Vigilante" and "Wings Of Heaven", but definitely on a good way to get there again!
I think we need to talk a bit more, do you use MSN, AIM or Yahoo? If so, please PM me (no need to let everybody know ) Oh, I'm Alex from "The Metal Observer", I guess you remember me? If not, ask Robin from Morgana Lefay.
Urban breed said:I am all for playing 'The Shining' in Chicago. More than anyone else I might add. And as far as Metal Church goes I'd pick either 'Fake Healer', 'Metal Church' or possibly 'Burial at Sea'.
Bryant said:That would be pretty cool. You don't sound like either Howe, Martin, nor Dio but I think your voice and style would work pretty well for any of those bands. I think Peter would probably enjoy doing the Metal Church as well as far as the "Fake Healer" song. Arrington was pretty awesome on the "Blessing in Disguise" release.
