germoney.
...tell me how do I pull out the booklet without fucking up the whole digipak or the booklet itself (or both??!!) ?

Thats why i buy the jewel case version!!!! Fuck the digipaks the only ones that worth the money are the ones with extra tracks or multimedia.

Repeat after me: fuck digipak, fuck digipak!!!!

THIS IS WHY I BOUGHT THE JEWEL CASE VERSION WHICH IS MUCH BETTER THAN SUCKY FUCKY MUCKY DIGIPAKS WHICH SUCK ARSE.

astrochimp-
I seem to be the only person in existence who actually likes digipacks.

Nah, I like 'em too. :)

*just realized by answering the question I implied I was a retarded jerk....smooooth*

You designed the digipack version of Deliverance? :err:

maaan Opethfan1980 is right... the cd is the same, if you can't pull out the booklet thats your problem :P
both jewel and digi are ok to me, it sucks only if the cd falls out of the digi every time you take it....
and the cd holder in the middle of the digipack looks just cool.... :D

Digipaks generally look nicer than jewelcases in my opinion. But they are rather fragile.

My copy of Deliverance is already torn slightly and I've only had it for 2 days. The booklet is pretty hard to get out without tearing something.

In the end it's the music that counts though. So I don't care that much. And I sure as hell wasn't going to wait for the store to get the jewelcase version.

true enough....... I wanna be able to read the lyrics sometimes, but mostly I just need the CD.......

"There is no absolution"......... that bit ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuules!!! (Wreath)

You should have read my posting more carefully. The issue isn't about simply pulling out the booklet - it's about pulling it out without damaging anything. In the meanwhile I managed to do that...but I won't put the booklet back into the digi again. I will rather use an empty jewelcase and put both, the CD and the booklet into it. (yes, there are people who are THAT careful with their CDs...)

Am I going to have a big problem getting the booklet in and out? I hate it when my digipaks get all frayed on the corners. My Katatonia slipcase version of Tonight's Decision is like that *sigh*

yesterday i got all the opeth albums.
i wish morningrise was a digipack,
because when i dropped it on the floor the case broke.

... for a moment i thought digipacks were better...because they don't fall into pieces if you drop them.
