TOC release date - June 8th (?)

As I mentioned in my review of WD's solo gig - Jim said that it looks like June 8th is going to be the release date for the new cd.

So we still have some time to wait, but maybe they'll release a teaser or something like that leading up to it to try and create some buzz. Jim's quote that "Warrel and Jeff have taken it to a new level" sounds pretty promising, and he also said that it sounded like a mix of WD's solo cd and Jeff's solo cd - both of which I consider amazing stuff. Hopefully WD can post some samples without getting into too much trouble (LOL).

From what I have heard in some interviews, there is still a lot of shred but Jeff said he was giving Warrel a little bit more space to stretch out on the vocal parts. Maybe that means the material will be more "song-oriented" as it was on Warrel's solo cd, but I'm sure Jeff will still deliver the goods.

Which sounds perfect to me. Ambivalent was a horrible song with one of the best solos ever. Warrel's solo album had awesome songs with not so good solos.

At this point I don't give a shit what it sounds like anymore, or the unspoken rule of don't talk about Nevermore here, it's been over 5 years I need a god damn Nevermore fix.
