Today, I Bought RAPTURE

[Overlord Purple Rainbow]

I've only heard the first two songs, the first being an instrumental, the second being very Children Of Bodom-ish. Which isn't a bad thing. In fact, I like the keyboards in this band over Children Of Bodom. They sound cooler and aren't as dominant in the song as COB. The dragon stuff in the CD and pictures of the guys with swords is pretty cool.

So what did you think?
THE only complaint I have?
Too short, the disc clocks in at about 34 mins.
Other than that, it's ONE of the best discs I have bought over the last year or so.

Yeah, it's short, but sweet.

Like I said earlier, I think the keyboards are used to better effect than say, Children Of Bodom. But, I haven't heard HATEBREEDER in a while. But yes, awesome stuff. They did blend the harsh growling with clean vocals. That was pretty cool. And the riffs were top notch! It's a brutal type of music, yet I got mental pictures of Medieval dragon slaying! Heh heh...COOL STUFF!!!
