I get to work on many projects at the same time and some are in inches and some are metric... for some reasons metric is always easier to work with! A good example of how much metric makes more sense is that it works with 10s... you've got your millimetres, centimetres... so on...

To be honest I don't like either system. I am working on my own system based on a unit of cooked kittens.
