today is 1/23/4

The american way is wrong. it's not 1/23/04 it's 23/1/04. Days, months, years. Small to big. But hey we're talking about a country that still doesn't use the metric system.

"metric sucks" ?

yeah thats right. it sucks because its more clever and it actually makes sense.
but you're right.
it sucks.

what evah

Where I work, we do lots of business with europe as well as america... Though in quebec, we tend to work with the imperial system, I do agree with what you said ... all this dating and measuring stuff is really confusing... I get to work on many projects at the same time and some are in inches and some are metric... for some reasons metric is always easier to work with! A good example of how much metric makes more sense is that it works with 10s... you've got your millimetres, centimetres... so on...

Anyways... I guess you get used to the imperial system just as you get used to the metric...

jeez the rediculous stuff that people argue over on this board

and Will.... since you didn't include the 20 in 2004, that date will happen again in one thousand years...

Who is arguing? I thought we were having a nice conversation?

BTW a ROYALE with cheese does not sound as large as a quarter pounder with cheese.
