With their new album on the verge of completion, visionary metal band Today Is The Day is booking new live performances for the months ahead.

First up, Today Is The Day will join Converge, Cave In, Deadguy, Defeater, Shutdown, Ensign, and more in Brooklyn on June 14, to play the second day of the tribute to 1000 Knives promoter Rich Hall, who passed away in January.

The following week, Today Is The Day kicks off a nearly month-long North American tour. Running from June 24 through July 18, the main tour is with Buñuel (members of Afterhours, Il Teatro Degli Orrori, Oxbow) and Murderous Again (Lydia Lunch, Tim Dahl, Matt Nelson), with Today Is The Day headlining shows leading, scattered throughout, and ending the trek.

Steve Austin states, “It feels so good looking forward to this Summer’s tour with Buñuel and our headlining shows coming up. The new Today Is The Day album is being completed and will come out late this Summer. I’m excited to hit the road and hang with all my friends and fans during this tour. Now more than ever, the rock is on and is set to go down! Let’s get it on!”
