I like Hall a lot with Jack Starr's Burning Starr. He'll be excellent with Riot. I still think it's weird they go on with the Riot name without Mark Reale and with a new singer though.

I thought the slight change to Riot V was a nice touch though. Just calling it Riot wouldn't have felt right.

I think with the way the recording sessions went for Immortal Soul, there is little doubt that the band has had conversations prior to his passing about the band carrying on without him. Granted we will never truly know.
Furthermore, if In Flames and Stratovarius can make a living without original members, why not Riot???
I love Hall with Reverence. I think he is a powerful vocalist who will do RIOT's music justice.

Agreed. It'd be really shitty if they continued as Riot without Mark Reale. This has bugged me since his death.

There were interviews after his passing with the band....one of the guys takes care of Marks dad who is ill and Mark gave them the blessing of carrying on with the band. They even did the last few shows without Mark because he was in the hospital at the time.

if anyone is interested...they will be making their US debut show with the new line up april 4th in Chicago.
