Not a fan, but I know there are several here so...

Guitarist Gary Holt checks in with this breaking news from the EXODUS camp!

"I’d like to take a moment here and welcome back Tom Hunting to EXODUS' drum throne. It was always understood that when and if Tom was ever ready to resume his drumming duties for the band, his seat would be waiting. Paul [Bostaph] always knew this, and was the first to say it upon joining the band. Paul and Tom have always been good friends and we, as a band, cannot thank Paul enough for his services on Shovel Headed Kill Machine and all the subsequent tours he did to support that album. We had a great time and kicked many asses along the way. Paul has given this reunion his whole-hearted endorsement with no mixed blessings and is happy to see Tom back in the fold. Now, some band out there may just become the luckiest bunch of suckers in the world, because one hell of a drum is on the market! We wish Paul all the best, and he will always be a member of the extended EXODUS family.

That having been said, we are so excited to have Tom back in the band he co-founded. He, other than the time spent out of the band, is the only drummer I’ve ever played with, and he & I have an unspoken language of metal that I am stoked to continue. We are hard at work on the new songs, and this shit is the best and heaviest music we’ve ever written. I’ve kept quiet until now - because everyone always brags about how great their new shit is - but this is no boast. This album will redefine thrash metal as we know it. We will be hitting the studio mid-May with Mr. Andy Sneap. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED."

 and I thought somebody will found it amusing here.

Well I have an idea send Paul Bostaph to Mike Chlasciak and then send Bobby Jarzombek to Riot to compensate for DiMeo going to Masterplan :D

Tom Hunting is more suited to Exodus than Paul Bostaph IMO, good to see him back in the band he formed.

Bostaph may be a "flashier" (is that a word??) drummer, but Hunting's more personal drumming defines a good part of Exodus' sound. I missed his trademark playing on the last album...

+1 .. but it's not really much of Exodus anymore imo... but I still like hearing old Exodus prior to their current album... I just saw the old video for Toxic Waltz on MTV this past Saturday night... brings back memories... :headbang:

...and send Frank Gilchriest from Riot to a real studio to record some real drum tracks with real drums for the new Virgin Steele album...:heh:

I support the motion (even if I don't care about VS either).

I do wanna say though that I don't really like the newer stuff that much, I prefer the old stuff especially when they had Paul Bailoff(R.I.P) He was great.:worship:

NP: Beyond The Labyrinth - 'Morning Rendezvous'

no really Wyv what do you like? lol ... Many bands I need to get you into... perhaps burn you a compilation CD one of these days...

All above I like, otherwise it won't be in my collection at all. A few bands which albums I hadn't been able to find I do like (I have them as MP3s) but until the original album is in the collection I do not consider the band as something I like.

And knowing your taste I bet your compilation will not be somehing I would dig :D, but thanks for the offer anyway.

Damn Wyvern, you went all alphabetical and shit!:kickass:
How long did that take?

I have an Excel spreadsheet with all my albums. I store my CDs alphabetically by band and within the band chronologically by album. It's kind of cumbersome when I buy new album and I have to move everything to insert a new band/album, but it's fun to do actually.
