Toontrack Metal Machine (new EZX)

we had a great time actually, the toontrack guys are super cool, total goofy humour and not shy of a good meal/drink, so we got on great. I was surprised at the amount of samples we recorded, it took 5 days of constant hits, tuning, playing midi, and then 2 to 3 days back in the uk fine tuning. I tried to find a middle ground with the eq, compression etc. The idea of ezx is that its good to go out the box, but I didn't want to over do things, so it could be flexible. Judging by what you guys are saying here I think we got it right. Theres a free update coming soon with a few more cymbal catches/chokes btw.

Great!! thank you andy!

Dem huge toms of thor.

Picked this up last night and I'm so happy I did. It has honestly given me the motivation to write some new stuff instantly. More so than any other Toontrack product. Great work Andy!!

Thanks for that! :worship:

Just bought it but no download link or anything else...:err:

EDIT:"Thanks for your order. The paypal payment details do not match the details on the order. Please advise"

So what?

Hmmm.. That's weird. When I bought the Metalheads from their site I received all the download information in five minutes. Not sure about the payment details not matching thing..

question.

Is the boxed version the actual packaging photo OR will I just get a box full of every disc ever like I did when I ordered The Metal Foundry.

I remember Toontrack stating they would continue this in the future which means I'd just purchase the download version but I love having physical copies boxed and would only want to buy this if it was the actual package shown online.

Anyone?

The snare test file runs through all 7 snares from top to bottom (if you would like me to list them out for you, I can). Each snare is run through a collection of short snare grooves to give everyone a feel for all the different snares that are available.
