I wanted to experiment with drum processing and because I don't have any real recorded drums to mess around with I decided to use a fairly unprocessed EZX. I also wanted to hear how one of the first EZXs would hold up after 7 years.
So I used the Vintage Rock EZX in it's almost default state (just a few minor level and bleed adjustments within Superior Drummer) and used the built-in plugins of Superior Drummer to sculpt the sound of the drums. Some light EQ and Compression was applied on the master bus using T-Racks Program EQ1A and Vintage Compressor 670 and a dash of NI RC-24 Reverb.
The audio clip switches between the unprocessed and processed tracks.
