WTF! Incubus HIM the verve all people's favourite bands?! God that's worrying. Incubus is just a bunch of pretty boys who are completley over-rated and over-produced. HIM just sing about love and seem incapable of writing anything else. As for The Verve do you honestly think they'll be remembered in 10 years time?

Queens of the Stone Age are stoner rock (sometimes called riff rock). Alice in Chains weren't metal to the bone, they were the epitomy of grunge. Van Halen aren't metal, they are hard rock. At the Drive-In might be considered rock, but I think they are more punk / hardcore / emo.
