Noooooooo, I HATE the word "mate". I'd never use it to refer to either a female or a male friend of mine. And I hate being called "mate".

Anyway, this word always makes me think of animals mating :)

well for kaklamanos i do. since schepens left :cry: me man is alex. and he's greek :) Oh and Standard tried to sneak him away from us with all their money and that, but they didnt offered him enough. (alex' words) I'm sure he would have earned more there, but it is a team full of wankers. so he rather stays with us... God!
