Topic: USB2 vs PCIe Which will allow me the most tracks/vst effects/vst instruments?

Wouldn't go for an EMU card though, have one myself, drivers are a nightmare...

+1

I have a 0404 (as a secondary card) and don't even like it for reproducing Windows sounds :puke:
That said, I have the older PCI model -not the PCIe, which seems to have better reviews-.

Still, I'd go for something else, like a Konnekt, or better yet, a Saffire-

EDIT: Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but those E-MU flimsy cables are, in fact, a nightmare :(

I second your :puke:

Gat dayam what orrible sound quality it has. if I am not dealing with graphics card digital based crosstalk, I am dealing with general lack of clarity.

I sent it back already. At least the win 7 64 drivers worked. So it had that going for it.

You are also a mind reader. I ordered a Saffire PRO 40 yesterday. haha.
