I have not heard the song, but I did see Tori Amos on VH1 talking about it. It was really hilarious. She was saying something like when she first heard it, she imagined a great big vagina in the sky and went on from there. Hence the Raining Blood, I suppose.

I've only heard her cover of Tom Waits' "Time," which is pretty damn good..

I don't think anyone else could pull it off. She's just eccentric enough.
