Towards dead end scale?

I think he just works off of d minor. There's accidentals here and there, but from looking at the rhythm part, it's probably not harmonic minor.
 
It's the same but u don't have to bother about augmented 5th, this is a litle nonsense. It's a D harmonic minor .. The difference between the D minor and the D harmonic minor is the sharp C, which is the major seventh.(C sharp in harmonic, C normal in natural minor)
I hope somebody in the world understood me ..
 
F augmented 5th major and d harmonic minor contain the same notes. The rhythm is generally rooted in D minor though, but those rhythm chord progressions are so simple and "vague" that you can pretty much solo in any form of F Major or d minor over them.
