Hm. yeah, I'd tend to go with the older stuff. I still haven't bought Vespertine, though, so maybe my opinion's null & void.

But Post and Debut are amazing, without a doubt.

whatever. that's like my favorite bjork record of all time! i love the breathiness of her voice on songs like pagan poetry and its not up to you and cocoon (best song of all time)

And musically, yes, you're missing out on something. Try Post for starters- that was my first one, and I was hooked.
