transportation while on tour

Also, if you're not carrying a lot of gear, you might want to consider renting a big-ass passenger van like the Chevrolet Express. A trailer can be a major pain in the ass in bad traffic or in small parking spaces plus you'll end up with better gas mileage.

another thought, we might just take 2 vehicles. it would be cheaper..since we already own them. ones a Toyota Tundra..and we can pretty much fit 90% of our shit in it. ANd it drives amazingly well for a truck. basically use a 2nd vehilcle to fit ppl.

Good thinking. Got enough gas to make it to Belgium too, do you? C'mon now, fill her up!

That's certainly feasible, but depending on the amount of time and distance you're covering, you might want to take the issue of comfort into account. My band Vex's tour last summer ended in Oregon, and we then had to make a 30 plus hour drive back to Texas. We probably wouldn't have survived that drive home without all the sleeping/lounging space inside the van.

mike still has the entire website saved, and i have plenty of hosting space so we were talking about putting it back up. actually, i think there may be some unreleased THOTH pics left over.

btw, mike left me a message at lunch two days ago to tell me he walked into Sam Ash music and they were playing ND. not sure what record it was. perhaps brian gordon works there...

sorry, i meant Count Arius, not "mike"

haha Well, tell Count Blah I said hello when you talk to him again....

Yeah I dunno who might be working at Sam Ash that's connected to us. Brian Gordon worked for a time at Guitar Center, back when he played with us on TWTF. I suppose it's possible he's moved over there.

Last I heard Eric, Gordon does work at Sam Ash in Arlington Heights I believe. I pass it on the way to work every day.
