Triple Headliner Guess.

you guys, Circus Maximus is not headline material. Outside of my friends that I've introduced to them and people on this forum I've not heard a damn thing about Circus Maximus from anyone. You can't go into FYE and buy their albums. They don't have nearly the exposure that other headliners that have played PPUSA have like Kamelot, Nightwish, Evergrey, Symphony X etc have.

Not to mention they only have 3 albums.

Edguy being the band that Glenn was surprised to hear from. The reason he would be surprised is because he would have believed them to not have a need to play PP because they tour the US regularly.
From everything I've heard (and saw at their stop in San Diego/San Marcos), their last tour wasn't exactly a rousing success, and the fact that we haven't seen any sign of them in North America for "Age of the Joker" indicates that they may not be interested in playing to 75 people/night here. If anything, I wouldn't be surprised to some them do a limited tour with PPUSA as the anchor point - perhaps a couple Canadian dates, NY, Worcester, VA/MD, Atlanta, then fly out to LA if they think it makes financial sense.

I have to disagree, Circus Maximus could easily be the first of three headliners. They have plenty of material and amongst the PP crowd they are adored. Would totally work in my book. Hope it happens would love to see them again.

Within Temptation
Iced Earth
Pagan's Mind

Within Temptation won't answer the phone for Glenn...Iced Earth? A headliner that would get me out of the venue early...Pagan's? Love em! Headliners? mmm...

Maybe:
Pagan's
John Oliva
Evergrey--and I say Evergrey ONLY if this is the absolute LAST ProgPower. I also think Evergrey is the surprise band because people might think they are tired of playing this venue...

EDIT:
Edgay IMO is pure cheese Scorpion cover band...no thanks.

You're correct in that WT hasn't answered the phone in the past, but Glenn did say it surprised the hell out of him when a certain band contacted him. That's why I picked WT. It'd be your loss if you left during IE, I know a lot of folks (myself included) would love to see them with Stu. And yes I agree that PM would kick all kinds of major ass just like they always have in the past.
