Anyone know whats happening with Trouble? I got a German mag today and theyre in it but I cant understand German like.
Well they seem to be recording a new album soon. Here are some news from the Doom-metal.com site:
The reunited doom legends
Trouble, who, along with recently recruited new bassist Chuck Robinson (formerly of
This Tortured Soul) are set to be entering a number of selected studio's in October of this year to record their forthcoming new album
'7', with Vincent Wajno (of
Machine Head fame) likely to be producing and engineering the new full-length.
Frontman Eric Wagner mentions that the band "have about 15 songs right now. Some of those are 'After The Rain', 'Seven', 'A Bad Situation', 'Goin' Home', 'Doombox' and 'A New Generation'. It's still heavy, it's still
Trouble, maybe a little more modern. It's still us. It's our seventh album and it was going to be seven years since our last album, but now it's going to be a little more."
The band are also working on a seven-track acoustic compilation of classic
Trouble material, that will also feature a new song written by Wagner and Robinson...upon its release this recording will only be available on the band's website,
www.newtrouble.com.
