Trying to mix

Hi all,

as I want to become serious about mixing, I tought the best would be to record a very short musical thing with my currently used equipment and start mixing. So some facts about this short clip.

2 Guitar Tracks
1 Bass Track
1 Midi Drm Track

Bass and guitar are record via Countryman directly into my Phonic Helix Board MKII, where I use Pod Farm for the amp sim and some Impules.

What could be done better within my mix?

its easier for someone to do these things in mixing than steer someone else in the right direction. and the ones that have a good enough grasp on what they are doing to help someone else are normally way to busy to teach

but your drums a buried in the mix and the bass it a good bit too loud. and play with your guitar tone to make it better. just keep tweaking and referencing and you will get better ;p
