A little video my band put together before we head out on tour with Periphery and Monuments in February. The drum kit in the rehearsal space sounded incredible. Would love to record some drums in there sometime.

If any Sneapsters can come down to a show or put us up for the night, it would be much appreciated!

Awesome, really look forward to these shows and seeing some of you guys down there!

Necromancer197666 - They usually charge in half days, so something like 10-6, or 10-10. We were trying out a new setup with our guitars, so a little longer than usual. Around an hour or so.

Not sure if anyone noticed in the video, but if you watch again you might see what I'm talking about. I'll reveal all after a few people have a few guesses ;)

would love to see you guys, but Munich is at least 2 1/2 hours drive away from me and I have
exams at that time.

At first I red TSE instead of TSF and was hoping for news about the X50 release or something
like that, just didn't realize the Pre-tour rehearsals part, but it's still nice ;)

It takes an hour to setup on stage?

And I didn't notice anything. I'm guessing the computer controlled midi switching isn't new...

Nah, we have to setup the PA as well, as quite a few bands bring their full touring rig.

dwdrums is quite right in saying that we use axe impulses straight to the desk, and cabs for onstage sound. The way we do it is so there are stereo and mono patches, so that it sounds like there are two rhythm guitarists while there is a solo, as well as stereo fx etc, while normal rhythm tones are in mono. Has worked pretty well so far!

One thing that always strikes me with those "virtual" setups is cabling. I mean both axes are in the same rack cause the computer needs to be somewhere close. So it would be best to have wireless for the guitars. Now what if one drops out? There you go, here's a cable across the stage that everybody is going to trip over cause it's usually never there...

And that Venue console is yours or what? :OMG:

I wish it was ours! Those things are mighty expensive.

We don't play wireless usually, but we would like to soon. At the moment, we run a cable from the axe to a tuner, with another longer cable from the tuner. Is pretty simple, and alleviates any issues with cables getting in the way of each other.

Yeah, I probably should of made that clearer! What I meant is the rooms are usually empty as most bands bring their own stuff. But they obviously get clients who don't have touring rigs in the UK and what not.
