Sounds quite boxy I'd say.
And that's most likely due to the cabinet & micing, not the amp itself.
It has nice gain structure though, imo.

Yes, u are right. Miking 0 inch closed on the center of cone. Maybe should try 1 or 2 inch position for better sound or dual miking with condez. mic as room mic...
