I love my new Macbook pro, but I want to add a proper tubescreamer to my sound, and from what I've read on the forum, the greener is not good enough... (I'm using Revalver mkIII for everything)

So are there any AU Tubescreamers? Most of the posts mention the TSS, but it's PC only :(

Maybe I should just invest in a hardware pedal, I'm sure it would come in useful live anyway.

I'm starting to realise that a lot of the free production stuff I want to download is PC only.

After a quick ebay, I found this beauty:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Ibanez-TS-9-Tube-Screamer-15-Point-Modification-TS9_W0QQitemZ280276501495QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar_Accessories?hash=item280276501495&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1234|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318

Could be just what I'm after??

Thanks mate, much appreciated!! Downloaded them all, and will give them a whizz later.

Maybe I should invest in a pedal... currently looking at the TS9, OD9, OD808. I've seen some guys on this forum get great results with just the unmodded OD9.

none of these are exactly a TS, but hey, maybe worth a shot:

You could always use the TS in Revalver, and if the part is short enough, it may not catch the white noise, or you could edit the white noise out. Or just buy revalver.

Yeah, I was pretty bumped to learn that all the cool free stuff is for PC (classic effects, freeamp2, jcm900 sim, the TS sim, the soldano sim, etc etc) after I got a mac. I stole that stupid VST to AU converter, and it's useless.

Thanks guys, I will give a real tube screamer a shot. What do you think of the modded one in the ebay link I posted?

I've tried the first two mate, will have to try the last ones also. thanks..

Umm.. I've bought revalver already (MkIII). Are you talking about the Greener module?

Alright, won't try that then! Thanks for letting me know it sucks...

I have some impulses of a tubescreamer on my computer at home. I could upload those (even though I think I got them here some time ago) later tomorrow
