I'm making a list of stuff to hire for the new drdoom recordings.
And i was thinking about which pre to use on guitars.
I came out on the mp1a.
But because it seems to be pretty coloured, does it work on dist guitars? wouldn't it get to muddy/cloudy? since its a pretty "soft" pre.
And while were at it: hows the Focusrite Red1 on drums? (overheads/kick/snare)
