Tunebot for your iphone

Loren, you can save the tunings onto your Tunebot as well :)

I'm aware, but you can store head information, lug information, hoop material information, shell material info and dimensions as well as drum dial settings (if you also have a drum dial) in the iDrumTech app.

Hence why I like it as a companion to the tune bot.

They are adding a share feature down the road as well so people can share what they are using for tunings.

It's great for this. Well worth the $2, HOWEVER, I still much prefer the tunebot.

Pros of the app: Better way to save your tunings and description of setups. Always with me. CHEAP.

Pros of Tunebot: Seems to be much more consistent and accurate after first using the app. the tunebot's filter feature is a godsend, as the app consistently gave me readings of higher overtones and seemed to fluctuate more. Hopefully they'll add that as someone stated. I also like the difference mode on the tunebot. The clip makes using it very easy, and assures you are always getting a consistent reading as it isn't being moved around. Allows you to tune your drums while on the kit, as opposed to setting up some jig with a mic stand and moving drums around or growing a third hand.

All in all, the app will do in a pinch, great way to document settings, but not quite as suited as the tunebot.

If you have the cash, I'd still get the tunebot WITHOUT A DOUBT.
