What tuning does Loomis use on DHIADW?
I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Yep, and that's the case for every following album. However, there's usually at least two songs per album written in Drop Cb.

I have to say that my favorite tunings are half stepped tunings like Alice in Chains, Nevermore, My Dying Bride, etc. They all seem to have a darker sound no matter the musical style, and not just because it's lower than standard.

I figured it was a 7 string tuned half a step down...cause the record didn't quite sound standard B tuning but it didn't sound like A tuning either.

I always thought Burn My Eyes - Machine Head was in Drop C and D standard. Maybe it's all over the place with those two tunings and also drop B and C standard

There's just a couple of exceptions on every Nu-Nevermore album.

Burn My Eyes is drop C but I think The More Things Change is drop B.
