Two Buss Compressor, API or Drawmer 1968?

I'm trying to get some real users comparisons of these two units being used on the two buss for Metal tones. Can users of either describe their strong and weak points? Should I be looking at other units for this task?

I have never used any external stuff on the 2 buss but even still id recommend the alan smart c2 for metal stuff.

A lot of people have mentioned that it makes the stereo image smaller?
So I've seen on the forums.
