No offense to the musicians in UDO's solo band, but come on......

A guitar solo AND a drum solo for a live recording?

No one going to see UDO live is going because of the guitarist or drummer.

The last time Doro played here the band had an instrumental jam and from where I was I could see Doro sitting offstage with a towel over her head and inhaling steam from what looked like a big mug of tea. She looked completely beat, but two minutes later was back on stage acting like there was nowhere else she'd rather be. It made me appreciate what these guys (and gals) put themselves through, especially the veterans who keep at it as years turn into decades.

Plus, Doro = magic.

No, but most bands who have headlining sets do this to give the rest of the band a chance to catch their breath. An intermission, if you will.

Yes, and let's not forget that this show lasts close to 2H30. Very generous for a singer who's over 60. He surely needs some rest during these solos, even though I surely don't care about them.
