This is just a teaser... The second leg of the tour will be North America only (I think) so you don't necessarily have to do all that travelling unless you can't wait until early summer.
I mean sure NA isn't the best possible market for Maiden but of course they'll be doing more than 3 shows total!

Nordic dates announced next week!:kickass:

No doubt I'll be at the NJ show...and I'll be at the Garden if/when they hit there on the 2nd leg.

When the dates were announced this morning, my friend in FL booked his flight to NJ on 3/14. :headbang:

yea guys- this is only a quick teaser with their 2 dates centered in big areas (for them) and in population. as i know NJ will get many from philly where i am, ny, and NJ.

but yea- the 2nd/3rd leg of the tour is NorthAmerica/Europe...so there will surely be many more...though if tickets go for sale on NJ show before 2nd leg is announced ill be going there- dont wanna chance that they might not stop in philly- even though they always have.

idk if its why they did it, but playing 2 shows on the first leg in America, i think, will be amazing. it will get alot of publicity and word and by the time they come around for the full US tour- itll be fantastic sales...i think?

If you look closer at Februry 26, well you'll see why I don't give a fuck for the USA dates

NP: Miles Beyond - 'Vlad The Impaler'

I like the optimism here, but the last few Maiden, "American Tours," consisted of about 10 dates max, and a few of those were in Canada. These were referred to as, "The American leg." The last tour (not including Ozzfest, which was a fluke in ways) had New York and L.A., and some in Canada. It was called the, "North American Tour."

We'll see.

...The second leg of the Tour will take place mid May to mid June with further concerts in North America, followed by the third leg European Tour, extensively covering most of Europe in Stadiums and major Festivals. In total the band are expected to play to well in excess of one and a half million fans during the whole tour.

As you can see that second leg will be North America only, so fear not! Eddie never lies!

It gives one hope. We'll see. Mid-may to Mid-June means a whole month's worth of shows, so hopefully they will hit some secondary markets....

I hope that's not all the dates....
I'm sure there will be yet another DVD that will come out of this... I'd love to see a show from this tour be packaged together with Live After Death... That would be the shit...

The Australian tour was set up like that, 3 days inbetween shows. They ended up doing multiple shows in the cities already booked. I guess you can expect the same but I doubt they will add more cities inbetween dates already listed.

lol none of you read other peoples posts. i think myself and at least 2 others have directly quoted the ironmaiden website in saying

read it this time, haha. its not like they would come close to one and a half million with solely those dates anyway.
