The release date of the U8 album "Touch Of Fire" is December 6th, 2013. The preorder phase will start on November 22nd, in our webshop.

The Austrians U8 always were a well hidden secret of Heavy Metal especially because they came from a -lets say- "non Metal country".

Today their albums (the third was never released) are a must have for fans of high class 80s Metal. The early album "Pegasus 1001" maybe was not as strong as the two later ones, but you will be surprised how actual and "young" the catchy songs still sound today. Without any sign of age even after 30 years it is quite clear why their LPs are so expensive today. Good Metal never dies!

All albums finally will be available on the Pure Steel label KARTHAGO RECORDS in a perfect limited collectors edition with bonustracks, informative booklets, silver tray and holographed certificate.

As next part of our Heavy Metal Classics series now their second effort “The Shaber” is following, which is stronger compared with already very good “Pegasus 1001”.

Like the Re-Release of the debut, “The Shaber” got a complete remastering, 5 bonus tracks, a 24-page booklet, colored silver tray, a holographic certificate and is hand numbered to 500 pieces.

As part of our Heavy Metal Classics series, now their debut album “Pegasus 1001” is following, on which Günter Maier and his guys are already showing their capabilities, because you will be surprised how actual and "young" the catchy songs still sound today.
