I recommend you guys to watch the official "The self-destruction of the Ultimate Warrior"-DVD from WWE. It's totally biased and edited to make him look really bad, Vince's personal vendetta, but it's quite interesting nevertheless.
But it's also quite demystifying to see your childhood hero being exposed as batshit insane and a very poor wrestler.
I miss those days... I don't know if it's diluted childhood-romanticism, but to me, these over-the-top colourful characters of the late 80s/early 90s had such sooo much more charisma and entertainment-value. Even though the business being on a whole different athletic level nowadays.
