Good review, although I'd disagree about Iron Grudge. I really like that song.

And I know I'll sound like an asshole for saying this, and I'm sorry, but I just didn't like the writing of the review. Blah blah, as a writer I notice things others don't. I'll forgive you.

But I will say this: The use of the phrase "While this X is far from perfect..." pisses me off. Obviously its far from perfect, or there wouldn't be a review. And besides, does anything really hit Perfection that often? If there were a supply of "perfect" albums out there, they'd be all anyone had in their collection, and there wouldn't be much else in the way of music.

Just a pet peeve of mine.

Hahaha "On a slightly different note, I must admit this album is so Canadian in lyrical content that sometimes I feel I’d appreciate it more if I was clad in a red jacket and riding a moose through snowy countryside." Its actually true, I relate to this album on so many ways and one of the things is being from Ontario myself, its not hard to think about long frozen drives along the 401 in the middle of winter.
