Thanks for tips, haven't heard anything but the Faith no More yet and some steady grooves there...btw, didn't mean examples being as uncompressed as in that extreme Rita example.

The whole Ki alvum from devin townsend is full of uncompressed drums that sound good. I guess he compresses them in the heavy parts, but the rest is very subtle.
