Unfurl cover + video !! merry xmas !!

Some of you might know that Swany and me have a long and illustrious history in covering Katatonia songs. Since a lot of time passed since the last cover I thought about doing a new one.

The original plan was to cover UNFURL in a way how it could have sounded when it had been on Viva Emptiness. These shifted rhythms and riffs....
But as I started to figure it out on piano I felt it worked pretty well with the song. To give the song a more dramatic turn I later metalized the chorus.

When Swany came over to sing her parts we spontaneously shot a video which turned out surprisingly well I must say!

Music is good vocals are decent. not bad overall. Makes me want to hear a Viva version of Unfurl from Katatonia themselves.

Oh, that was nice I really liked the piano intro, which made me think a full piano version of Unfurl would be awesome. It would be totally different and maybe not very appealing to some but still...

PS: Swany's profiles remind me of myself a few years back, when I had very long hair.
