Unimportant shit

Hmmm not unexpected I guess. I dunno how guys in these bands have families but tour for large chunks of the year.

"due to the rapidly changing music industry, it has become increasingly clear to recording artists that the only way to keep a band viable and to truly reach its potential is through live performances. That means that a band must reach out to new regions of the globe and become pioneers for their own livelihood."

So mp3s are good for people who want to see live bands then. Heaps more bands come here these days.

I am going to make sure I see Iced Earth while abroad this year, as Matt has said he will fullfill all live committments and festival appearances. I was given a second chance to see them, I must take it!

I hope Jon doesn't get another replacement, and just retires the band. He could do well to concentrate on his solo project, and talk Hansi into doing more D&W.

He's got a crazy range (he does growls, screams and the clean stuff in Into Eternity).... I was listening to their latest album last night and can't help but think he won't be a very good fit to Iced Earth. He's a fine singer... but is just VERY different to Barlow and Owens

Really enjoying this at the moment as a break from Jean Michel Jarre as my go-to "non-distracting work distraction" music.

Going back to the whole "Barlow leaves Iced Earth, replaced by growler" topic from earlier.... listen from about 45 seconds and tell me he can't handle IE's higher parts (not Into Eternity's best song... but I just happened to be listening to it and remembered this thread)
