For the past 10 weeks Rapture has aired a show called the Rapture Sabbath, an Underground spotlight show where the listeners send RR an email to vote for the best bands played.
As this is an interactive show, bringing your fans to listen is very important. Over the past 10 weeks the bands who brought their fans to listen slaughtered the other bands.
This has become such an event that we are now making it a monthly show so bands can have the time to promote the show and gather support.
If you want your band to be heard on the Rapture Sabbath, not only will you get all the exposure you can conjour up, but all of the people the other bands brought along will hear you!
Previously, we named the band receiving the highest votes the champion for the week. But now that we will be doing this monthly, we will be making a cd with all of the partcipating bands on it in the order of the votes they receive! We will offer this cd to the listeners for a very low price. That cd is going to be offered to a lot of people!
So, what do you need to do?
1.You must be an unsigned artist. You can be signed to a production company and have a distribution deal but you cannot be signed to a label.
2.You must contact Rapture Radio and let us know you want to be part of the Rapture Sabbath. If you send a cd without telling us you want to be a part of the Sabbath, you will get airplay but will not be included on the Sabbath.
3.You MUST send a cd to Rapture Radio--MP3' are not accepted. You must also give Rapture permission to release the song played on the show on the Rapture cd.
So if you think you can stack up against the rest of the bands out there, we want you!

All cd's for the October edition of the Sabbath show must be received by September 25th. Only 20 bands per month will be allowed. If you miss the deadline, you will be featured on the November show.
