Many thanks for the suggestions. I am looking for an alternative to
www.cdinzane.com. My first few orders with them were excellent - I was very happy. My last order - for Beautiful Sin and Cloudscape - has not been acceptible.
I placed the order on July 5th for the 2 items. They had one in stock, one not in stock. I saw in the notes for my order that Beautiful Sin was backordered until July 24th. I called them and wanted to take Beautiful Sin off the order so I could get Cloudscape (I have been looking forward to that). When I spoke with them, I found out I had already been charged for both (I also saw it on my credit card that same day - I was not happy being charged for a CD that was not in and ready to ship). While on the phone I was told that they would be getting additional copies of Beautiful Sin in on July 10th, so I decided to keep the order and wait the extra week (no big deal). The notes for my order say that it will ship on 'July 11th ASAP'. It is now July 17th and I have not received it. I do not believe it has shipped as there is no tracking number in the notes and I received no email regarding the shipment going out (which I have gotten for all other orders I have placed with them). I have been trying to contact them to see if the order has at least shipped, but no reponse to email and no one answering the phone.
I am not happy that I can't get any information on my order - especially because I have already paid for it.
I am hoping to find some other alternatives online. Their selection is excellent and the prices are OK, but I am a little worried about their service at this point.
Hopefully I will see those two CD's shortly...
