Bassist Martin Mendez is a show just by himself, nothing but a head full of hair flopping around while fingers plunk away.

[party pooper] The only thing that gets me about all these reviews and the reviews posted on this board is how they say it was "flawless" and they "nailed it," etc. I consider myself perhaps one of the top 20 devoted Opeth fans in the universe ( ), but I'm not deaf to their mistakes...of which there were quite a few, at both shows I saw. Perhaps it's because I know the songs so well that I heard the mistakes (but I'm talking about pretty obvious things like someone being a beat behind the others and covering several measures later). Calling the performances "perfect" undermines whatever else they may have to say. Ah well. [/party pooper]
