Usenet question

I still use Usenet (newsgroups) a fair bit but lately I've had a problem with it. When I go to read my groups, I don't get any new messages. The last bunch of messages is from two weeks ago. When I select "Get new messages" it tells me that there isn't any. I'm using OE as a reader. Have I fucked it up somehow? If so, how do I fix it? It's pissing me off because I don't know what I did, and nothing I've tried seems to work.

I always used to use Free Agent for newsgroups. Sounds like it might be your ISP, perhaps. *shrug* Then again, maybe I don't have an adjectival clue.

But Free Agent is probably the industry standard if there ever was one...

Sounds to me like Spiff has hit the nail on the head with this one. Talk to your ISP about thier newsgroups.
