Using a software amp modeller through a cab

I was wondering how do I go about running a software amp modeller like revalver through my genz benz gflex 212 cab? Is it safe to do? Also what ohms do I use?

You need a power amp before the cab...
The amp sim just works as a preamp...

Tried something like that, plugins were a Cubase Dynamics as Noise Gate, free Tubescreamer Plugin, Wagner Sharp, a little bit Eq and than connected my pc to my Engl Poweramp into my 4x12 and it sounded really really good.
Didn't expect it to sound that good, killed the pod xt totally...

Yeah figures I need a poweramp for it. Right now my amp (Mesa F50) is broken and I have no money to fix it. Hopefully I will soon.
