Hello guys. TSE x30 and x50 are really great. I'm kind of new in this stuff and i'm having some problems with the CPU. I insert in every track the ampsim and the cabsim impulses and this takes a lot of CPU. If i have 4 tracks and i want to have 2 tracks on X30 and two on X50 is it a good idea to
a) make two group channels and insert X30 on one and X50 on the other
b) Route the two guitars on the X30 group and the other two on the X50 group
c) Make a new group channel and insert the cabsim impulse
d) Route the two Groups (X30 & X50) to the Group with the cabsim

Would there be any difference if i inserted each plugin on each guitar track seperately?

Never tried routing guitars to an ampsim bus.

My best choice is (in Cubase) to freeze the channel once it is recorded.
And just before I start mixing, I bounce every track into other track while keeping the DI's save in a closed and muted folder.

If you have cpu issue, organize yourself :

1 - record.
2 - edit. Then print
2 - mix with only wav files (no ampsim, no vsti). Print each song to its own .wav file
3 - master the album with those songs .wav files

If at any moment your pc cannot handle one of those etaps, its Time to upgrade

As long as the amp sim AND cab sim can be set to Stereo, you can put them on a bus channel and send two guitars to it. Just make sure the guitars are panned hard left and right.

I've tried it, but I think the best solution for any sort of ampsim bus is to have LeCab 2 have separate hard left and right inputs on a bus. Also, ^ what he said.
