Does using the line out on a THD hot plate sound like ass? The amp I plan on using doesnt have an fx send or line out, just speaker outputs

I though thd hot plate was a dummy load? If you want the signal between the amp and the speaker, why dont you try H&K Red Box (or the Behringer equivalent, G100)?

its okay, but I think it does something bad with the sound.. but that could also be the INSTRUMENT cabels I used when I tried.. I have speaker cabels now, maybe ill try again..
