ValSans - Austrian Heavy Metal

Like it all but the lead singer. If they could find a better one they would have a better chance of making it. But all in all a thumbs up. Thanks for the info.

It looks like the band picked that singer by walking round Wacken for 5 mins and picking the first appropriate lookin dude.

Trying to start some trouble aren't we, Claus?

You bet! ;)

I can't stand the singer in SABATON, and I've never made that a secret. He is beyond horrible to my ears and that they've gotten successful has way less to do with his singing and their musical qualities (seriously, we're talking about a Nightwish music clone here) than the fact that people are taking in the whole "war" concept and their on-stage-persona. It was "in" when Accept was wearing army clothes 25-30 years ago, and apparently it's "in" again with the metal crowd.

But, this thread is not about Sabaton - it's about this new Austrian band, and I kind of like them actually - not bad, even if their singer (too) is an aquired taste.
