:Smug:Black Sabbath/Heaven & Hell bass player Geezer Butler has shot down rumours that the four original members of Black Sabbath will be reuniting for a series of tour dates and a new studio album. His brief message was as follows:
"I would like to make it clear, because of mounting speculation and rumours, that there will be definitely NO reunion of all four original members of Black Sabbath, whether to record an album or to tour."
The rumours flared up last month when Ozzy Osbourne told ABC News that the four original members were in talks about a new tour and possibly an album, though he stressed nothing was definite as of yet, stating: "the problem that we have is that if we do an album and it's anything less than where we left off, it's gonna be a big anti-climax."
