i really was a van halen fanatic during the fair warning era.
the first 4 are great (I , II , WACF, AND FW) . diver down was a cool fun summertime album , i remember some people thinking 1984 sucked "how could van halen use keyboards ?" but, i actually grew to like that one too. and DLR solo EP and, eat 'em and smile kick ass. if you like the vibe of the old van halen you can't go wrong with any purchase. they tried to grow up with sammy hagar and lost any sight of what made them a great band to begin with. it's like kiss writing a politically concious song. who gives a fuck ?

that fucking movie rules. One of my favorite times watching it was in 1996 and I got to lick and fuck Felicitas after it was over. Great movie and Better sex

Although it shows off Eddie's versatility the song is hokie IMO.

I love Van Halen with both DLR and Hagar. But the stars of Van Halen are Eddie and Alex. You can't break up the connection of two key member that are so locked together sonically..ie Dimebag/Vinnie, Scott/Charlie.

like most I would suggest any VH cd before Sammy Hagar ... I like Sammy on his own, he kicks ass. But Van Hagar just sucked. You wanna hear Sammy, buy his cd's from before he was with VH .. VOA is a good album, Everyone loves Three Lock Box ..as for Van Halen, the first one is still the best. Eruption is a kick ass tune. Jamies Cryin is one of my favs on that album.
