Van Helsing's Curse - Oct. 20-21 in Vegas!

SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did you look at the cast?? Al Pirelli, Mark Wood (TSO east violinist) and several singers from TSO, including Tommy Farese and Michael Lanning (blue eyed soul from TSO west).

I would DEFINITELY like to see that show!!

Chris :headbang:

I witnessed this live last year in Long Island NY, and it was awesome. Dont expect the production you see from TSO but expect to be well entertained, and rockin out none the less.

I would definately see it again. Mark Wood even whipped out his trademark neon green violin for the event that he uses in TSO.

Well, been back from Mexico for almost a week - and my buddy is already on me to go to Vegas (divorce does strange things to people - wait, we went to Mexico and Vagas fairly regularly as married old farts too). Gotta support Dee - and HALLOWEEN - think I may be trying to get in to town for this one. Gotta check rates around those days - be great to get in at the Hard Rock for this one - less distance to stumble.

Dee has always been a class act as far as I am concerned - and I have some stories about that :) Wonder how hard it'd be to get one of those trojan/centurian hats froma Ceasar's guy - taht could be this year's costume - and if we manage to pull off the Luggage Cart Chariot races (noo to the Hampton for closing on ous) - that hat would be perfect for it.

After seeing strangeland, it's really hard to take Dee Snider seriously.

I seriously hope that is not a slight at my acting ability - actually I missed the calls for extras LOL he did shoot it here in Colorado Springs and held his "premiere" here - where he was most geniel - and even remembered and "incident" at the Wax Museam in DC that forever made me a fan of tTS :)

AWW HELLZ YEAH, BITCHES!!!!

I'm gonna be in Vegas for the Pride Fighting Championships American debut! PERFECT TIMING!!!

I saw the show two years ago! AS BAD ASS AS A TERRORIST WITH A GRENADE IN HIS MOUTH AND A NYPD COP HOLDING THE STRING TIED TO THE PIN!!! Look people, this show was so inspiring to see. I ain't the kind of guy who puts on makeup to go on stage, and this show TOTALLY made me want to cover myself in slime and dirt and jump on stage like a zombie!!! Their costumes are extremely cool, the lighting, the props on stage, even the pianist had his piano decked out with chains and a candelabra! It was great! The female guitarist REALLY knew how to wield that axe! The stage lighting... I've never thought that stage lighting could have such a dramatic influence for a band, until I saw this show. WOOOOW. Don't believe me? Take a look:

People. I was floored by this show. I will gladly be a dirty filthy whore and sellout my soul to convince you all to go check this out. DO IT. And now that I've been perusing the photos from the more recent shows and seeing how they bumped up the costumes and stage design, I'm even more geeked!!!

They need to make a DVD because they only have a few shows per year.

As of March 2005 they were making one (I was lucky enough to be in the studio with them when they were editing the video for the opening sequence).
And it looked amazing.
But, I guess it's been quite a while since then, so I don't know if it's been delayed, or cancelled...or maybe released on a really limited basis? Who knows.

That's odd.

My only problem is that they go on sale while I'm at PP and may not have access to the interweb thingy...:ill:

Good news: Tickets are still available for $25. :headbang:

Bad news: TicketDisaster charges an additional $9.35 "convenience charge" as well as a $3.40 "order processing" fee. Over 50% of the ticket price! :(

Worse News (for non-locals): [/B]The Hard Rock won't "accept" Saturday arrivals, so you either have to pay for multiple nights -- or stay elswhere and take a cab to the venue.

Just saw this on the VHC web site…DVDs are now available for just $5 to cover the cost of manufacturing and shipping! :headbang: :worship:

Also, for anyone who want to check the music out, the web site has 4 songs from the “Occulus Infernum” CD available for free download.

You don't need to stay at the Hard Rock and you don't need to take a cab. Alexis Park is across the street. So is some cheapo motel whose name escapes me at the moment. And next door there is another one. And down the block is the Terrible's Casino. Walking distance options are plentiful. Let me look up a couple of websites for you.

There ya go!

Alexis Park and Comfort Inn show available rooms for Oct 20 AND Oct 21 (as 1-night stays).

Hey, where were you when I was punching in my credit card number to book at an outrageously priced and inconveniently located Las Vegas establishment? Oh, well...that's good info to have…lesson learned for next time!
