I was totally expecting some sort of Whitesnake vibe on this disc. I wasn't wrong. There is plenty there. However, it's not as much as I expected. This is the perfect past meets present rock disc. It's more of a Led Zepplin meets Shinedown.

And holy fuck..the real star of this disc is Jan Hoving. I had never heard of him, but the man has some serious pipes.

Love this disc.

I saw the teaser on Melodic Rock.com. Have always loved Vandenberg's playing!!

Sounds like really good stuff......definitely going to be picking this one up. Already sounds heads and tales better than the Red Dragon Cartel cd that I was looking forward too.

I love this. He's been away far too long, and has obviously been saving up some great songs.

Good thing he didn't continue with the Vandenberg band name.. we'd hear whining about how it doesn't sound anything like the classic sound of the band. :)

Can I just say, that this is the closest thing that I've heard to Badlands in awhile?

Got me excited with that comment, but honestly not hearing much of Ray Gillan in this one. Singer sounds more like a slightly more controlled Jackyl than anything.....
