Quite the mix of sounds, progressive, blackened thrash, melody, but it works well to my ears

Top tier nu-thrash. Their sound isn't as Voivod influenced as their logo would imply. They do do the sci fi lyric thing, but the music is a little heavier than that...think more along the lines of like Anacrusis. Very good and technical solos too.

Regardless, I think this band is one of the better new metal bands from the States. Great live show too.

Love this band-- finally got to see them 2 weeks ago sandwiched between While Heaven Wept and Primordial. While they sounded every bit as good as on cd, something about the mood that was set by Cormorant and WHW made 'me seem out of place...

I would love to see them on their own.
