Not to wear out my welcome mat here with various projects I'm involved in, but this one is Mike Spreitzer's (Devildriver guitarist) idea:

http://venuereports.com/

He wrote over 70 venue reports and took tons of pictures while on the last few Devildriver tours, and I helped him put the website together. It's a community-run site, so anybody can post reports on venues anywhere in the world. Kind of like Harmony Central gear reviews, only for live venues. Rest assured, Mike and I will be moderating this one so that all the reviews people post will be given the quality inspection.

A very useful tool for touring bands and their crews. Mike is a genius for coming up with this one! Enjoy! :kickass:

Is there a size limit (as in venue size)?

I have 2 that are not on the list, but worth mentioning IMO. One is a smaller bar (58) but a great venue for bands (best sound I have ever encountered), the other is quite big if you can draw a crowd large enough (200 max) but sound is what you hire in.

Naming only big venues is kind of a bad idea since most bands who are going to be using this are proably not huge and need to know how to survive in the much smaller venues. i can do a full report on tulsa.

No limit whatsoever. This site is for venues of all sizes. Thanks! :kickass:
