It sure was. I'll never forget it!

Great news to have you back (along with Larry!) in the line-up, DaveWildeStarr said:The new CD is coming along great! James has done a great job, Brad as well!! I am excited about this new CD, the first that Larry, Geoff and I have done together since the classic VR with Mark and Carl circa 1986 to 1993.

Brad is a killer axeman, I hope he can bring back a little bit of what Mark McGee brought to the table, all these UFO/Thin Lizzy/classic rock influences you know. It blended so well with VR's crushing and moody power metal.
ah... and welcome to UMOS by the way

Blown away...that's all I can say upon first listen to VR. One of the best US metal bands we've ever produced!
I have already put in a request for VR to play next year's Chicago Powerfest, over on the CP forum. Let's hope the guys take that request to heart.

Papa Josh said:The new album is incredible, I think all fans will love it. James "delivered the goods" in the best possible way, since Carl.
And the band sounds really hungry.

I heard his earlier band called Ruffians which was pretty good. Similar style to VR.
